FASD Training Oppurtunities
The Great Lakes FASD Regional Training Center staff, in conjunction with partners across the region and beyond, are available to provide training for health, mental health, allied health, and other providers and students. Training topics address a range of issues related to FASD, and can be modified as needed to meet your needs.

Participants from the October 12, 2009 MI (motivational interviewing) workshop with Dan Dubovsky are invited to attend a FREE booster session on Wednesday September 22nd at St Mary's Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. Participants will receive 6 hours of continuing education units (.6 CEUs) from UW‐Madison for full participation.

FASD Training of Trainers Program
March 7-11, 2011 Verona, Wisconsin 
The FASD TOT Trainer Certificate Program provides science-based information on FASD; along with the skills, strategies, and materials to provide effective FASD education to health and allied health care providers and/or students. To earn the Certificate, participants must satisfactorily complete all requirements; including successfully conducting and evaluating two (2) pre-approved FASD professional trainings.
A limited number of full or partial registration scholarships may be available for the March 7-11, 2011 TOT. To apply please complete and submit an application to the GLFRTC.
Clinical Skills Development Training
Physicians, nurses, medical students, and others can participate in hands-on skills building sessions addressing the diagnosis for FAS and other FASDs. Contact Kristi Obmascher (608-261-1418 or kristi.obmascher@fammed.wisc.edu) for more information about our clinical skills training opportunities.
